How many different skirt versions are there at Rockmacherin?
Our buttoned classic is available in Young, Classic and Elegant. Depending on your height and how you want to wear the skirt, the Young skirt skims the knee, Classic ends below the knee and the longest version, Elegant, reaches to the middle of the calf. You can select the version you want in our online shop under Colours/Cuts.
All other skirts are only available in the length described in the article.

Which skirt length (young/classic/elegant) suits me best?
The skirt length that suits you best depends on your height and, of course, your preferences. If you are under 1.60 metres tall, you might like the young length. This sits on your hips at the waist. If you choose a size smaller, the skirt will ride higher on your waist.
If you are 1.70 metres or taller, I recommend the Classic length if you want the skirt to cover the knee. If you prefer to wear your skirt on your hips, choose a size larger for the Classic skirt.

At what height do our buttoned classic skirts sit?
The Young skirt has the widest waistband, as it should sit on the hips and is therefore worn slightly lower. If you prefer the Young skirt to sit higher on the waist, simply choose a size smaller and it will ride up. Classic and Elegance are cut the same in the waistband. They sit at the waist and only differ in length.

How can I improve the fit of the skirt for me?
If your skirt is a little too small or too big for you, you can simply move the buttons a few centimetres. If you don’t have the confidence to do this yourself, an alteration tailor can do it for you. If the waistband fits you well but you want to change the length, this can also be easily done by an experienced tailor. Particularly practical: if the Christmas goose has left marks on your hips, moving the buttons will also help.

The model I have chosen is sold out in the online shop. What can I do?
