How Many Different Skirt Versions Are There?

At Rockmacherin, there are three skirt versions: Young, Classic, and Elegance. Depending on your height and style preference, the Young skirt hits around the knee, the Classic ends just below the knee, and the longest version, Elegance, reaches mid-calf.

Which Length Suits Me Best?

The best skirt length depends on your height:

  • If you’re under 1.60 m (5’3”), the Young length usually flatters you most, worn on the hips. Choosing a smaller size will raise the skirt to the waist.

  • From 1.70 m (5’7”) upwards, I recommend the Classic length if you want the skirt to cover the knee. If you prefer wearing the skirt on the hips, go one size larger for the Classic skirt.

Where Does the Skirt Sit?

The Young skirt sits lowest at the waistband as it is worn on the hips. If you want it higher at the waist, simply pick one size smaller.
Classic and Elegance skirts have the same waistband cut and sit at the waist; they only differ in length.

How Can I Improve the Fit of My Skirt?

If your skirt feels a bit too small or too large, you can easily move the buttons a few centimeters. If you’re unsure how to do it yourself, a skilled tailor can help.

If the waistband fits well but you want to adjust the length, an experienced tailor can also do this easily.

A handy tip: After a festive meal, if you need more room around the hips, moving the buttons is a quick fix.

What Is the Fit of the Frida Skirt?

The Münter skirt from the Frida line features the Elegance mid-length and has a waistband that sits at the natural waist. If you prefer to wear it lower on the hips, choose one size larger.

How Does the Skirt’s Fullness Feel?

The skirt swings beautifully around your legs, offering great freedom of movement and excellent comfort. Plus, you’ll receive many compliments on your stylish look!
