I am Caroline Lauenstein, founder of Rockmacherin.
My passion for sewing, colors and fabrics has now turned into a business. I grew up in Hamburg and moved to Bavaria with my family in 1999. At the time, I was looking for a really good piece of clothing that I felt comfortable in, that had roots in tradition and that suited my life and its needs. This resulted in the first skirt that everyone suddenly wanted.
I now design clothes that feel like home to me – anywhere and at any time.

Production & Monitoring
Theresa is responsible for ensuring that our fashion is finally available in the stores or in our online store. Her friendliness and her good eye for cuts complement our development team.
It is something fulfilling to be able to realize myself in my job. I get to contribute to the production of sustainable fashion as part of a wonderful team.
Anna Mayer
Branding & Communication
What you can see of us on the outside runs across Anna’s desk. She brings everything together with her heart and mind. You’ll see her face again and again on our social media channels.
Having a place where work is done out of passion and dedication – with consideration and awareness of the resources of materials and people – is something I really appreciate.
Sabine Seifert
Distribution & Customer Support
Sabine takes care of the concerns of all our valued customers. She lovingly packs every single parcel for our online store and also conjures up the most amazing Excel spreadsheets.
After more than 20 years in the IT environment, my new life at ROCKMACHERIN was like diving into another world. There is something special about working here: working together, finding solutions together. There are also challenges to overcome here, responsibilities to take on – but the how has a completely different quality. In particular, the now very personal relationships with our customers make my heart happy.

Sabine’s four-legged friend not only delights us, but also the occasional visitor. The old lady shows us serenity.
I’m here because I have to be. But I make the best of it. Everyone is kind to me and I get my daily cuddles. Sunbathing areas are cleared for me. Because I can’t see so well anymore, everyone watches out when I walk in front of their feet or sit behind their desk chair. I don’t leave here any more.
